The artist Holman Hunt painted a picture of Christ standing and knocking at the door of a cottage.He called together his artist friends and asked them to look at it critically and see if they could find any mistakes in it.They looked and looked and examined the picture closely,but no one could find anything but admiration about it.
Hunt was not happy.He bagged for some to look more closely and professionally
Finally,one very young artist came up and said,"Mr Hunt,I think I see a basic mistake in the picture.You forgot to paint a door handle or lock on the door."
"My friend,"Hunt remarked,"when Christ knocks on the door of your house,it can only be opened from the inside."
